Will Apple Drop The iPad Price?

February 9, 2010 in News by Joanne Carter 1 comment

Well, that’s the latest rumor concerning this new device. Despite the hype surrounding the announcement, analysts are now predicting that Apple may reduce the price of the $499 iPad.

Great News For Consumers

This is great news for consumers, although we understand the drop in price, if it actually happens, is not huge but still significant, around $50 – $100. Still, getting an iPad for $399 is surely going to make the skeptic person buy. Well I hope so, do you ember how Apple gave a $100 rebate off of the iPhone two months after it’s original launch? Hopefully Apple will introduce this price drop before the actual launch and with that price drop they are sure to clean up.

Without the price drop, I was 90% certain to buy one. With it, I’d be so close to 100% that we might as well call it 100%.
